The recognition by the US of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is “an obstacle to a fair and lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians based on a negotiated two-state solution”, the Swiss government said.
Reacting to US President Donald Trump’s announcement on Wednesday, the Swiss foreign office said any solution in the Middle East must be based on “a comprehensive negotiated agreement on the final status of Jerusalem that respects the rights and aspirations of all interested parties”.
“Switzerland does not recognize the authority of Israel beyond the 1967 borders and will work towards the establishment of a viable, contiguous and sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as capital and based on the 1967 borders,” the Swiss government said. …

Everyone knows where Israel’s capital is, including the arabs who live there. Trump didn’t say anything that wasn’t already known by anyone.

It's questionable if peace was possible before Trump's action, so recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capitol hasn't changed anything.

I’m fed up with other countries preaching to us about this matter. It is none of their bloody business. Nikki Haley should tell the world to “shove it.” Trump should tell Treasury to cease sending funds to ALL foreign countries.

Maybe the Swiss are motivated by “Nazi Gold” or maybe its something else but deep, deep down in the German DNA a residual puddle of jew hatred is, in my opinion, alive and well.
The Swiss escaped major damage from the Nazi’s. So, like watch making, we know they are keenly adept at playing and “tooling” both sides!
