Democrats are now the party of the rich — so why not tax the rich?
Washington examiner ^ | 12/3/2017 | Steven Moore

Democrats represent nineteen of the twenty-five congressional districts with the highest median income. The remaining six seats held by Republicans are all swing districts being targeted by the Democrats in 2018. This is not surprising, since these twenty-five districts gave Hillary Clinton 62.6 percent of the vote on average – 14 percentage points more than her share of the national vote.

In contrast, Republicans hold 59 percent of the middle class congressional seats, as middle class is defined by the Pew Research Center. Republicans also hold 44 percent of the lowest-income congressional seats.

Since these chamber of Commerce rinos cannot get any Conservative reform passed unless it benefits the same, then they along with their even wealthier and more powerful globalist, open borders crowd should just ay the taxes.

Democrats are the Party of America’s state-connected, influence peddling oligarchs and financiers.

There is no reason that taxpayers from more responsible states should subsidize the Marxist policies of liberal stares.

We’re in a political war. As such, I’m for whatever political policies target and punish progressives as much as humanly possible. This doesn’t mean I don’t support Burkean conservatism. It means that I recognize that you cannot have a functional republic with people who reject all the tenets of it.

Democrats will fight tooth and nail to keep the MID - used nearly only by the wealthy.

Democrats will fight tooth and nail to keep the Cadillac Tax provision of Obamacare which will crush the middle class.

It is going to be a landslide...even without the democrat sexual assault and rape scandals.

I am old enough to remember when the GOP was painted as the country club, lawyer, professional, millionaire crowd (a.k.a “the rich”) and the democrats were the blue collar “working man”.

Today, that paradigm has flipped. Yet the same old political saws are used as if the Dems are the financially oppressed

If Dems really want to practice what they preach, why aren’t they clamoring for a WEALTH TAX...?

And those liberal states you harp on about must also then subsidize the poorer states because they carry a much heavier tax burden at the federal level and actually pull less at the fed level than states that do not pony up as much

This goes both ways and this is an abysmal tax bill

That is a function of population, not tax rates.

If I knew how to post images I’d post two right now that would floor you in the states that receive the most federal money and those that pay the most in federal taxes. These are rates information

“Stalin loved class warfare as well.”

So do the Democrats and it is only fair that they pay for it.

The ‘Rats are the party of the very rich and the very poor. And they’ve done an incredibly evil job of convincing the poor that the Republicans are still and always have been the party of the rich.

The “poor Dems” are so easily scammed.
