The complaint grew out of the ongoing investigation of D/W/S's IT aide, Imran Awan, and his team of four other Democrat IT staffers who in February came under investigation after allegedly stealing equipment from their Democrat employers.

While neither Wasserman Schultz nor other affected members of Congress — all Democrats — have been linked to wrongdoing, Wasserman Schultz’s ill-fated management of the Democratic National Committee has made her a regular focus of attacks and dark theories from activists who believe the 2016 primaries were slanted against Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).

In the last month, the Daily Caller newspaper has followed the Awan story especially closely, and on July 23 it reported that “FBI agents seized smashed computer hard drives” from Awan’s home.

That sparked fresh interest in the Awan story in conservative and some left-wing media. Tim Canova, a Sanders supporter who ran a spirited 2016 primary challenge to Wasserman Schultz, repeatedly tweeted news stories about the Awan arrest, urging more people to ask questions.

On Fox News, the question led to speculation that Awan was fleeing the country because he may have been linked to the 2016 hack of emails from Wasserman Schultz’s DNC.

“Here’s the corrupt IT guy standing at the shoulder of Debbie Wasserman Schultz, arrested at the airport trying to flee,” said Fox’s Geraldo Rivera on Sean Hannity’s show last week. “What if he was the source to WikiLeaks? He has all of the passcodes, he has the passwords, he has all of the information.” more at washingtonpost.com ...

Rep Andre Carson (Dem-Indiana) is a member of (A) the House Intelligence and (B) House Homeland Security Committees. Carson is also ranking member of the (C) House intelligence subcommittee on Emerging Threats, which oversees the (D) Office of the Director of National Intelligence. The subcommittee oversight extends to the (E) National Counterterrorism Center and (F) information-sharing programs.

Carson employed Imran Awan....eyewitnesses say the two played video games in Carson's office. An astute FReepers observed that it is possible to send intel thru a video game.

Carson was signatory to a letter to the DNC demanding his staff be given access to high level topsecret US intel.

These high-level committee appointments are “positions for sale”-——a Congressional version of pay-to-play.

Every committee appointment has a dollar amount attached to it that Members desiring the positions are required to raise.

Taxpayers demand to know if Carson is channeling Islamicist cash directly into the DNC.

Caught giving cops a fake server, onetime Cong Xavier Becerra clams up

California's appointed AG, Xavier Becerra, has been curiously silent about that fake server he handed over to Capitol Hill cops to obstruct their Imran Awan investigation, at the time Becerra was a Congressman.

NOTE Becerra headed the House Democratic Caucus....the place where the Awan crew conducted their dirty work.

Becerra's role is worth noting because he is considered top Democratic talent, a Democratic Party star, with many Democratic leadership positions, including a seat on the House Ways and Means committee, chairmanship of the House Democratic Caucus (now at the center of the Imran Awan secret server scandal) and lately a post as the California state attorney general, where he is leading the state's effort to stop President Trump from ending the illegal alien's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals executive order.

Becerra shows a pattern as one gamy player, not the least because of his fake server role in the House server scandal associated with the Awan Pakistani tech family, and former Democratic National Committee chairwoman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

According to reporting by Luke Rosiak of the Daily Caller News Foundation:

On Jan. 24, 2017, Becerra vacated his congressional seat to become California's attorney general. "He wanted to wipe his server, and we [a 'senior official'] brought to his attention it was under investigation. The light-off was we asked for an image of the server, and they deliberately turned over a fake server," the senior official said.

A fake server? Wouldn't that take some serious planning? How long and how much effort would it take to construct fake server? What kind of information, then, was on the real server, the one former congressional I.T. aide Imran Awan made off with and maybe handed over to hostile intelligence sources for big money?

Why would Becerra hand over a fake server in this investigation instead of angrily get to the bottom of what could easily be called a betrayal of the House Democratic Caucus, which Becerra led, by these bad actors?

And more to the point, why is he clamming up? (When the Weinstein sex scandal erupted, not a word was heard from Becerra. He keeps looking the other way as crimes are committed).

It just goes to show that corrupt and questionable practices are part of Becerra's makeup. His nominated appointment to the position of Obama's U.S. Trade Representative was squelched in 2008 after it emerged that Becerra has written a letter urging President Clinton to pardon a cocaine dealer who then shoveled cash into his campaign coffers:

[Becerra] was widely criticized for being among a number of politicians who pressed President Clinton to consider whether to commute the prison term of Carlos Vignali, who was convicted in 1994 for his role in a cocaine drug ring.

Becerra wrote a letter supporting a review of Vignali's case after Vignali's father, Horacio, a Los Angeles businessman, contributed $14,000 to Becerra's campaign committee.

Becerra was also known for his dirty tricks when he challenged Anthony Villaraigosa, according to the same LA Times report.

He was never punished for any of this.

Now he's caught giving a fake server to lawmen in the hopes that the real server would never see the light of day. The lawmen, according to the Daily Caller report, describe it as obstruction of justice. This had better not be another one of these cases where egregious lawbreaking by high public officials gets dismissed as a nothingburger. Becerra has been getting away with a lot of corruption for a long time.
