In the last couple of days, I saw a video of Conyers, shuffling down the hall. He did not look well & physically, he looked frail & unsteady. Another report said he appeared disoriented when people were trying to talk to him & he certainly doesn’t look like he’s totally “with it”. He needs to go - willingly (step down) or unwillingly (thrown out for using to taxpayer money to cover up his sexual assaults).
I have quite a few relatives in the mid to uppper 80’s and can only speak from my experience with them. I would not want any of them making decisions for me/USA in the halls of government. Personally, I think 80 should be a cutoff for serving in Congress if there are no term limits in place (& I realize Congress will never vote for their own term limits). Conyers has been there 53 years - that’s about 40 years too long, IMO.

Stress will do that to a guy. The thought of losing pension or benefits piled on top of the public allegations can compound awfully quickly.
And he is pretty old. May even have the obituary written up already, just waiting for dates to be inserted.

lot of that is directly attributable to his inability to keep his hands to himself.
