No, that’s “different”. I’m quite sure that many of the women who slept with Weinstein, et al, did so quite willingly to advance their careers, thus encouraging that behavior in the future. Megyn Kelly comes to mind immediately. But that’s a narrative that’ll never be touched until/if/when stories start to emerge about women in power behaving in the same manner as Weinstein, Lauer, Rose & Co.
Anyone who thinks it doesn’t happen or that it’s rare is either painfully naïve or willfully ignorant. Any idea how employers and society in general react to sexual harassment complaints from men...? And, like the allegations regarding Kevin Spacey, we’ll find that there are plenty of predatory cougars and lesbians about.
