Well if she can turn it around this incident may have saved her life, at the cost of her career.

They didn’t just find drugs in her car, but ALSO in her DESK in her CLASSROOM!!!
....On Wednesday, police brought Igar, a K-9 officer, to Cox’s classroom on the second floor of the school where the dog alerted police to possible drugs in the center drawer of Cox’s desk, the affidavit states.
After an assistant principal unlocked the drawer, police found “a clear tightly twisted bag with multiple small rolled up pieces of tin foil,” court records state. Police also found an “outer plastic wrap from a cigarette package” with rolled up tin foil pieces, as well as “a rolled up small piece of paper” that looked like a straw that a detective “knows to be used to ingest illegal narcotics through one’s nostril,” the affidavit states.....

To be fair, she did not snort the coke in “class,” she snorted coke in the classroom.
“Cox said she was unable to ingest any of the drugs before school started, so she brought it inside with her.”
People are in such a rush these days with so much traffic on the roads during rush hour, and those unexpected morning errands, that it is perfectly understandable that she did not have time to smoke that crack before going into the school.

Chicago teachers need every advantage, but coke? If you can afford that, well . . .
What I don’t understand is why she didn’t just go to a stall in the girls’ or ladies’ room to snort her fix.
