A Florida Gulf Coast University course titled “White Racism” has sparked an ongoing debate surrounding its intent, though the instructor continues to defend it in the face of criticism.

Whiteness as in getting married before children, going to school, discipline, reason, and being able to delay gratification.
Why isn’t the good professor concerned about “Asian-ness”, or “Yellow-ness,” which in the US is associated with even better than white outcomes?
It’s OK to be White.
It is treated as good to demonize Whites because, according to The Left, Whites are demons.
Post that at a university.
But let a white professor hold a class called ‘Black Racism’ and watch all hell break loose.
Of course it’s hostile. They’re just up front about it.
The course I took in Anthropological Linguistics was so hostile to white society I complained about it to the instructor, who basically said anything with anthro in the title would be the same, that what I was looking for was sociology. Of course, sociology is hostile to white males, so it was only a partial relief.

I had to take one “cross-cultural” course to get my Business degree from SDSU in 1990. I took one called “Majority-Minority Relations” taught by an african - american instructor. It was basically “whitey bad, blacks victims, and whitey needs to make that right”. How we were supposed to make it right was not really revealed...

I would concede that the course was not racist in any way...
...so long as the SAME prof also gave a course in “Black Racism,” “Latin Racism,” “Arab Racism” and/or “Asian Racism.”
But I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for those courses.
I don’t hold “professors” as the epitome of knowledge...about anything, ESPECIALLY social/racial matters.
When they start spouting this nonsense - especially for publication - they morph from “professor” to “community organizer”...because that’s the only function they’re serving.
Of course, if a “professor” says it, it might as well be God talking - to the media, that is.
Most professors are professional students, and have never done a thing in their lives from attend school, and teach.
Colleges now are “math specialist houses”, they know how to take students down to the “lowest common denominator”.
Ignorance is strength.
