Don’t know the data, but I can tell you this: I am friends with a Haitian man who, ever since I have known him, has been a liberal DemonRat. He and I had heated discussions over politics many times.

Last year, though, he came to me and told me he knew Trump was not a racist. He also made known his disgust with Hillary, especially regarding the Crooked Clinton Foundation. I suspected he was going to vote Trump, and when I asked him after the election, he admitted to doing so...and even though he indicated he wasn’t alone in the Haitian community, he didn’t want to advertise his vote. Apparently there is still lots of social pressure to be a DemonRat in that subculture.

Fast forward to today. I asked my friend what he thinks of the decision. He said that while he understands the “passion” of the leftists, he says Trump is merely following the law, that Trump is actually giving Congress time to come up with a legislative (Constitutional) solution, AND that nine years is MORE than temporary.

iow, my Haitian friend stands by Trump on this issue. A remarkable turnaround.
