Gillibrand is still being very cowardly by not mentioning the more egregious accusations that Bill Clinton could have gone to prison for life. Those other accusation include rape, and the Monica Lewinski case was about consensual sex. Lying to congress or to a grand jury is not punishable with life in prison. So, Gillibrand is not willing to go the full route against Bill and Hillary. She is looking at the least damaging of the accusations.
She doesn’t care about any of that. This is all about Gillibrand positioning herself to run for President in 2020.
