“she (the mom) thought he (Moore) was good husband material.
Exactly. That’s how things were in the south then. Northern elitists with a mindset 40-50 years later are completely clueless about that, and are basing judgments on their current realities.
Things change. Mom said that when her mother was pregnant, that word, “pregnant”, absolutely was not spoken in polite society. “In the family way” was it, and only whispered. Things change.
Gloria needs her license yanked.
The “o” in Moore is also wrong.
I think some people on Free Republic are trying really really hard to keep that “14-year old” meme alive for some reason, even though it’s been fairly scotched. Even if that concocted tale was true, the teen at the time would have most likely been either 16 or 17. Her whole family says she’s a multiply divorced, multiply bankrupted serial liar.
She’s a nutcase that Allred dug up.
The poem makes sense now.
Who is Ray?

I don’t know.
But thanks for pointing out the now obvious poetry - very, very, obvious.
I will be posting that poetry everywhere now, and maybe a very simple explanation on it.
