Is it wrong that I was on the side of the slaughter bots when they went after the Senate?No. I recall when Independence Day was at the theaters, and folks applauded when congress and the white house were blown up.

Yes. I recall those cheers, too. In fact, I joined in them.

Years ago the magazine ASTOUNDING Science Fiction had a similar story. Flying robots that we're programmed to stop crimes by killing the criminal. It didn't turn out well. Killer machines are a very bad idea.
