A married Ohio state lawmaker who has said he believes in a 'natural marriage' between a man and a woman allegedly sent salacious and lewd text messages to gay men, propositioned other young men for sex when he worked in Washington, DC, and tried to convince a fellow conservative to join him and his wife for threesomes.
Republican state Representative Wes Goodman, who resigned Wednesday amid allegations of inappropriate behavior with another man in his office, led a double life, it is claimed.
'Wes Goodman, who was just caught having sex with a man in his office, begged me to have sex with him and/or his wife on several occasions while I went to school in Ohio,' Caleb Hull, a conservative journalist, alleged on his Twitter account on Saturday.
In public, he was a family values conservative - a far cry from the behavior he allegedly displayed in private, according to Cleveland.com.
The website interviewed three people who say they knew Goodman during the time he worked in the capital.
Before being elected to the Ohio state legislature to represent Cardington, Goodman worked in Washington as an aide to Rep. Jim Jordan, one of the most conservative politicians in the country.

He made his choice and destroyed his career. Now he has to live with it.
If it was a democrat, well... we all know how they circle the wagons around democrats for everything.
Oddly enough, there are plenty of gay men who distain gay marriage. That’s the “outlaw” types into leather, etc.
The democrats probably keep a list of GOP deviants for times when they need to deflect from their own transgressions. A lot of weird people out there.
Interesting that the guy behind him appears to be rolling his eyes.
That’s his father. LMAO.
Who does he think he is, Mitch McConnell?
People often demean others for what they dislike, but cant change, in themselves. Hes not uncommon.
Stupid...just stupid...
This is a CLASSIC CASE of why the Defense Department used to (at least) ask if you ever had any gay relations. If you answered yes, they’d ask you if that was public knowledge, if you said yes, you were good. If you said ‘no, I have relations but keep it private’, then it was trouble for you...since you could be subject to blackmail. DOD could not give a crap who you sleep with, all they cared about was whether you could keep national security secrets. I don’t know if they still ask those questions, but knowing the gay lobby, I doubt it.
In this case, this guy was a sitting time bomb for blackmail - he had electronic communications all over the place and couldn’t control himself. Thankfully he’s finished as far as claiming to be a ‘family values’ Republican.
Funny - Weiner is outed because he’s a straight Democrat, and now this clown is outed because he’s a gay Republican. LOL.

How queer that it doesn’t make headlines when Lindsey Graham, Mitch McConnell, and John McCain are outed as being far from the “family values conservatives” they claim to be. Plenty of RINOs.
But instead the libtard press attacks his message of opposing same sex marriage. If he really was “anti-gay” he wouldn’t have been cruising for hookups with men. I guess it is okay for the libtard press to slutshame homosexual Republicans.
One can believe in marriage between a man and a woman and still sleep with the same sex. Sex and commitment are not the same.
Ooh, stain and gay in the same sentence?
That’s true. “Why buy the bull
when you can get the horn for free?”
This is disgusting and is a betrayal of all who supported him, but if he nevertheless supported family values in law, what difference does his personal behavior really make?
Jesus told the parable of the son in the vineyard who said “yes” but didn’t do his father’s will, and the one who said “no” but did do his father’s will. Jesus seemed to accept the later.
