Oh, I’m such a dork! Dulcie is my MIL and she is going to be staying with us since she can’t live on her own any more. I’m sure she would rather be independent, but she has no strength in her legs for getting up or down or moving her wheelchair around.

All is well here. Just hangin’ out at home. It’s nice outside and really warming up! Maybe it’ll help the tomatoes we still have on the vine to start ripening!

No critters but he sure enjoyed digging yesterday.

Actually I had to give him some ear wash. His ears aren't cleaned up yet. The vet gave me some more for him.

We will head to the lake in about an hour.

GRIZZLY MAN was a documentary about this hippie guy Timothy Treadwell who famously went to live among the grizzly bears in Alaska and ended up getting mauled to death, along with his girlfriend.

He was very tragic, on many levels. The naivete and stunted mentality. Couldn’t believe he was 46; he was more like a 20-year-old.

I watched it because of the pervasive snowflake mentality in our culture. Actually, someone here on FR recommended it because of some other thread about a ditsy liberal environmentalist type who thought shooting wild animals was wrong, even if your life in danger.
