If he handled her divorce, it creates several problems for the accusers:
* Absolute proof she’s lying about no contact, puts rest of the story in doubt
* Serious doubt as the rape charge when she would have had reason to say “he can’t handle my divorce, we used to have sex / he raped me” - but she didn’t
* Provides motive for false accusations, as payback for the divorce decision she didn’t like in addition to her being a Democrat

They didn't screw anything up. This is the culmination of what has essentially been a slow-motion coup. What they are doing now is solidifying power, and further protecting themselves against the electorate (and the resultant virus that is Trump). It's like when people ask "what is wrong with McConnell? Doesn't he want to keep the majority?" Nothing, and he does, and he is. They currently have at least 90% of the Senate under their control, and probably about the same in the house. And he is doing everything he can to make sure that doesn't change.

Just a side thought....I doubt Allred or Beverly did the forgery....too old....too wiggly...and it's not as easy as you think...especially on that type of paper.

I'm almost betting the signature itself was penciled in before it was "penned". The paper would feel different even if you used a real soft eraser to get rid of the pencil.
