In the UK that would not be uncommon but in the USA rather rare. I do not think Roy Moore did this. If he did he is stupid. I do not think he did nor do I think he is stupid.
When I write notes to my friends in the UK if it is addressed to both husband and wife I often sign it with "all our love" meaning from me and my wife. I lived their for several years. If it is just to the husband I sign the note as "always your friend."

He did, he’s just a bit sloppy doing his capital S in cursive, and squished it following the ‘y’ with the starting loop for the S and curves for the letter turning into a vertical downward stroke.
If that's a L, it's in lower-case, not what you'd sign as a middle initial.
Clearly, it's a flourish on the Y in Roy and not a separate letter. It's plain from the typed name that his middle initial is S (his middle name is Stewart). However, it's a little odd that the middle initial does not appear in the written signature but does in the name as typed.
Yes!!! I knew it. I worked for a bank verifying. As I view both I thought to myself that if that signature on the yearbook was on a check I would return it “Signature Irregular’. For me it was the Letter “R” & “M”. I have seen counterfeit check where the signature is so perfect but they overlook a very very small detail.
I am sadden to hear Judge Jeannine trashing Moore over the signature.
In his real signature, he loops the top of his lower case o’s...yearbook ‘fake’ signature does not have the loops. Betting either the entire yearbook writing is fake or his name was switched in from someone else’s. Along with the “Roy” written differently in yearbook, the Y has no tall loop after it, possibly his middle initial of S, not a clear S but possibly how he does it; his real signature, the loop of the R is much bigger than the yearbook ‘fake’ signature..and as those on twitter comment at the link, all the other strange things, the 7’s written differently, bottom date and words definitely written by someone else. Even the first few lines are a different handwriting style than his signature.
But don’t tell Whorealdo any of this, he is convinced by the yearbook writing that Moore must hang...idiot.
In one place I read that his penchant for high school girls at restraurants and malls was well known..but the accuser says she accepted his offer of a ride home because she thought she could trust him because he was a D.A. This makes no sense that she knew who he was but did not know these well known tendencies., that others knew and did not warn her, that she trusted him anyway to go off in the night. Also, if you are 16 don’t you prefer to wait for your boyfriend than to go off with an older man with a reputation? The parts do not fit well. How did she ultimately get home? He supposedly left her there injured and scared, so someone had to take her home.
Agreed...they are now part of the hang ‘em posse..her, Whorealdo and Hannity seemed to be agreeing with them with his ‘not rush to judgement’ stance getting shoved aside..
Plus, the “M” in Merry is not the same as the “M” in Moore.
I don’t believe he wrote it either. The comma after ‘love’ is right by the R in Roy..someone put his name there. The writing above his supposed signature is different than the signature writing...all bogus bs. Let alone all the things pointed out at the gateway pundit link...
Shouldn’t JUDGE MOORE’S fingerprints be somewhere on the page?
Perhaps the lower case looking L at the end of Roy is how he makes the S for his middle initial..rather than lifting the pen off the paper, he just attaches it to Roy..

maybe not 40 years later...but maybe the forger’s are..
MIGHT be so but I would just once like to see a politician stand long enough to snuff out the accusers and make them testify.......... Otherwise the demorats will continue to create this sexual hype and chaos as distractions from their crimes and use it to buffer their looser candidates every time there’s a close race ahead.

Signatures over time tend to get simultaneously more stylized and more lazy with less lifting of the pen. That’s an “S” or it was at one time, morphing into just an upswept loop attached to the “y” in “Roy.”
