In an interview for Billboard magazine, country singer Faith Hill spoke out in favor of gun control and said it is time for the NRA to “tell the truth” about guns. Speaking about last month’s Las Vegas mass shooting, in which guns were used illegally to kill innocent concert-goers, Hill referenced the doctors who treated those wounded in the attack, saying: “The doctors that [treated] the wounded, they saw wounds like you’d see in war. That’s not right. Military weapons should not be in the hands of civilians. It’s everyone’s responsibility, including the government and the National Rifle Association, to tell the truth.”
“We all want a safe country,” the “Wild One” singer added.
Her husband, Tim McGraw, reasserted his support for “common sense” gun control during the same interview, saying, “Look, I’m a bird hunter — I love to wing-shoot. However, there is some common sense that’s necessary when it comes to gun control.”

I’ll give you the exposed breast comment, but as for the jokes they went after everybody. Bernie, Hillary, The Pres., they were equal opportunity skewers, as it should be. The jokes were funny and tasteful, and delivered with no sense of malice or hatred. And yes they did go after O’Bama when he was president. Brad and Carrie do a pretty good job of being non partisan in the monologue. Country music on the other hand is not what it used to be, but they had a couple of groups on there Wednesday that weren’t half bad. Even Miranda Lambert’s song was backed by some serious steel, slide guitar.
I saw commercials for this show in the runup to the telecast. The women looked slutty and the men looked like metrosexuals. Had it not been for the cowboy hats, I would not have been able to tell it was a Country Music show.

As far as I know, a mass shooter has never been identified as a Republican. So, instead of controlling guns maybe we should control Democrats.

Faith Hill has lost her mind.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Bill of Rights. Nothing. It is as perfect a document can be up to the Ten Commandments.
The problem lies with the misapplication of rights. Having free speech doesn’t give you the right to lie. Freedom to won firearms doesn’t give you the right to murder.
These are misapplication of the amendments and we already have laws that prohibit misapplication of amendments.
That is the truth. That is what needs to be stated every time a moron with a microphone pipes up to pervert the Constitution.
And what does this old has been think “the truth about guns” is? What an airhead.
Country music is outing itself and will quickly lose fans. They have failed to learn from the NFL.

I guess someone also needs to tell the truth on sissors, hedge clippers, rasors, potato pealers, piano wire, etc., etc., etc, since all have been used to kill people. But since it involves truth we will never hear it from this yokel family or anyone in the liberal media.
Every liberal gun-grabber shoots a shotgun and praises it as a more civilized weapon. Obama, SecState Kelly, and former VP Biden are also favor the shotgun. Biden suggested we all give up our ARs and start threatening and intimidating with a shotgun. I think not.
What has to end is liberals inciting their godless and apostate followers to murder and maim their political opponents whom they vilify as not worthy of any liberties protected by law.
