A British tourist facing execution for taking prescription painkillers into Egypt is crammed into a tiny cell with 25 other women and a hole in the floor for a toilet.

“...for a two-week break with her Egyptian husband.”
So, what’s the rest of the story?
Note to self: Do not bring opioids into Egypt.
How many times will this be posted.
A ‘wife’ visting several times a year for a few days to bring ‘medicines’. LOL. Who would believe in this story?
Sounds like the makins’ of a TV show.
It would certainly behoove people to ‘read the rule book’ before going to distant lands.
If they are ‘estranged’, he may have set her up...
**** like an Egyptian.
Singapore executed a Vietnamese drug smuggler in 2005. I suspect they wouldn’t have executed a U.S. drug smuggler. I suspect Egypt won’t execute her, because it won’t want the problems with the U.S.

Go there sometime if you don't think so.
Unless you are in a luxury hotel.

2. Don’t travel to muslim countries, ever.
Note to self: Do not go to Egypt.
Mark Antony wishes he thought the same thing.
Don’t bring yourself to Egypt, it’s a garbage country full of garbage people. I went there once for my job and would take a bad annual evaluation before ever going back.
Who's name was on the prescription?
How many pills did she have? 60? 600? 6,000?
And if he can’t get them there, it’s a big hint that he SHOULDN’T LIVE THERE.
