Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) on Sunday slammed Republicans for offering their condolences in the wake of the Texas church shooting while failing to take concrete steps to curb gun violence.
"Thoughts & prayers are not enough, GOP. We must end this violence. We must stop these tragedies. People are dying while you wait," Warren wrote in one tweet.
Warren took to Twitter to express her anger and heartbreak after a gunman opened fire at a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas, killing at least 26 people and injuring about 20 others.
She took aim at the National Rifle Association (NRA), asking when her congressional colleagues will finally take a stand against their gun policies.
"How many kids must die of gun violence on playgrounds & streets every day with no attention at all before we wake up to what’s happening?" she wrote in a another tweet.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) called the church massacre the state's "deadliest mass shooting."
Authorities have not yet announced the identity of the shooter, who also died.
The Massachusetts lawmaker joins a growing group of Democratic lawmakers who are renewing their calls for gun reform in the wake of the latest mass shooting including Sens. Chris Murphy (Conn.) and Kamala Harris (Calif.).

Is Olivia Beavers, the author of this piece in The Hill, terminally naive, or as dumb as a box of rocks, or just another Democrat media shill?
Warren and her fellow travelers are not angry and heartbroken over this event, rather they are ecstatic and gleeful and celebrating, because they think that they can use it to advance their ugly anti-freedom agenda.
Normal, decent people are shocked and saddened by such terrible events. Whereas Commies like Warren see it as a boon to their politicking.
It was much the same way after 9/11 when Communists like Teddy Kennedy (burn in eternal hellfire, Teddy) saw 9/11 as no more and no less than an opening to unionize even more of the federal workforce.

Warren doesn’t believe in prayer, and she doesn’t have any thoughts.

Did she say this after she reveled in the fact that 27 Christians were killed?

This month’s issue of Cutting Tool Engineering mentioned that 18 new 5-axis milling machines had just been delivered to the machine shop at San Quentin in CA. The inmates are renowned for their precision work done on a contract basis for the outside world.
You could eliminate every gun in the world and within a few hours they would be available in San Quentin.
Thoughts and prayers are not good enough for Elizabeth Warren. She will not stop until she accomplishes something symbolic and completely ineffective.

EXACTLY, therefore Machine Shops, Workshops, Garages, Milling Equipment, Lathes, Drill Presses, 3-D Printers, Electricity and Human Ingenuity would have to be outlawed as well.
