Couldn’t find Michigan law on NRA site but there is this: You can carry if your church allows, so it’s not illegal if your church allows. And I agree that’s the way it should be, each church should have their own rules, don’t like it, always the option to go to another church.

Where's your proof? I take it you didn't scan the report I linked in a previous comment. Here: Concealed Carry in Churches. Jacob Paulsen's 2016 map is easy to understand, and no one claims his research is wrong. Two states prohibit it, and another eight states and DC require permission from the church to conceal carry. Most states allow it.
