Arthur Andersen was a crooked outfit, nonetheless.

Because that would give him cover to start on the Dems! Don't you see he was expected to pursue Trump and company. If he didn't do that and just started going after the Dems than the left and the media would cry foul. He has to investigate Trump first and then work into Podesta, Clinton and others to have credibility. Manfort was actually involved with the Russia and Ukrainians as were podesta and the Clintons. He just might be trying to get Manfort to roll over on the Podestas. I am not saying Meuller is actually working for Trump but I think that is a possibility.

Tucker Carlson's reporting certainly gives the narrative you spoke with regards to Mueller, seems to support your statement. Like I said I pray that is the case. 8>)

Here is another one that looks extremely promising.

I first heard that this was the case from someone I know that worked at DOJ, now retired but still in contact, who said that is the case. I'll add I have a lot of respect for this person.

This may lend some credence to that narrative. It certainly would be sweet if that is the case.

This one offers promising information as well

One of the best summaries of the current situation I’ve seen, thank you very much for posting this (and all the other.great posts you make).

Maybe(this is a theory) he is actually on our side.

May-be. But based on what we know, maybe you are providing much needed comfort to the enemy? I’d love to be wrong, but just not one to surrender much ground without reason.

Would he hire all left wing attorneys if he was a straight shooter?

Yeah. He even signed the indictments.

Why didn’t their attorneys say something like....my client will come in when someone with the actual power to indict them does so.

They are giving him the power by obliging him.

And so is Rosenstein, and Sessions, and pretty much everyone in official Washington because they're afraid of him: he's abusing his power and they don't know how to stop that.

Nobody died and put Bob Mueller in charge of the United States, but he thinks that's true because he and Comey and pretty much every FBI director since Hoover have been extorting the politicians to keep their jobs and privileges.

But again...any attorney worth his salt would know whether an indictment was issued by someone with the power to do so. I can issue an indictment for my neighbor across the street but they could laugh at me over it.

You’re correct of course.

Manafort needs real attorneys who will fight, not milquetoasts, or the Inquisitor and his gang will roll over them.

He’ll judge himself by how many scalps he gets.

You've been around here awhile, you should know by now the goal of any Special Counsel Prosecutor is to pin the blame on someone by indicting and convicting them. That's how Special Counsel Prosecutors justify their existence.

You won't find a single Republican in the District of Corruption with the balls to stand up and say that, or start the process of getting oversight and accountability of Mueller and his merry band of taxpayer dollar grabbing thieves.

This is why I say Shakespeare had it exactly right: "first thing we do, kill all the lawyers!"

I don’t think I am providing any ground as this is just between us freepers. But, there ws another response to my post who had a well placed source in the Justice Department who claims the same thing. We will watch and hope.
