Some of the Fusion guys were connected with the WSJ. I read an article about it yesterday. Maybe it was posted here? CNN guys are also connected to Fusion.

CNN’s Undisclosed Ties To Fusion GPS

Snip:

Glenn Simpson, the Fusion co-founder most often associated with the dossier, is used to working on stories with Perez. As reporters at The Wall Street Journal, Perez and Simpson regularly co-authored stories on national security.

Another Fusion founder, Tom Catan, worked as a reporter for the Journal at the same time as Perez and Simpson. The third Fusion co-founder, Peter Fritsch, worked above Perez and Simpson as the senior national security editor.

Simpson and Fritsch left the WSJ in 2011 to launch Fusion. Perez jumped from the paper to CNN in 2013. Another longtime Journal reporter, Neil King, left the paper to join Fusion in December 2016.

“This way they run their elegant game on the Deep State by fooling everyone. “

If all this has been a ruse by Trump-Sessions, etc., it will be the most brilliant Machiavellian ‘sleight of hand’ in world history.

Sessions is a member of the club.

Sessions does not serve the non member Trump.

Trump should have nominated only club non members.

Trump ain’t perfect but he pulled a big mistake here.

Trump will not pack it in. He still has lots of cards in his hand. It’s entirely possible that these impending indictments will be a mistake and will backfire. (It wouldn’t be the first time Providence has taken a hand.) Firing back is Trump’s specialty. The counter puncher is just getting warmed up.

To be fair, Sessions fooled a lot of people. I recall when Trump nominated him that the choice had broad approval among conservatives. His subsequent performance has been an eye-opener for many.

I think so too, I hope so. Some people think that just because Sessions doesn’t come out on TV everyday and give them an update on what he is doing that means he’s not doing anything. I don’t think that’s the way it works. He’s not a blowhard politician anymore, he’s the AG.

If Sessions were doing squat why wouldn’t Trump know about it? Trump is Sessions’ boss. Sessions reports to Trump. If Sessions were on the case, Trump would not be saying, “DO SOMETHING.”

This is not as complicated as some are making it out to be.

I agree, it’s ludicrous to suggest it. If the President met with Mueller it would be obstruction of a federal investigation. A felony.

Sessions and Yellen could easily impersonate each other with very minimal disguises.

"I want to hear more R’s speak out and demand another Special Prosecutor, one that isn’t tainted."

Could Republicans find such a person among lawyers?

“Jeff Sessions has been on this from day 1.” I see no evidence of that.

Don't you know? A lack of evidence is evidence.

It's a Sting.

Like the movie.

1. He hires Mulehead (RR does) the DAY after Trump interviews him for a job he can’t hold.

Mueller not being able to hold the job again I believe is correct information. But what's your named source saying that Mueller was interviewed by Trump? I've seen nothing but unnamed sources.

This is hardly the first time Trump has tried to light a fire under Sessions. If you can’t perceive Trump’s frustration when he’s very openly displaying it, there’s not a lot to say.

Lying Comey made that claim about one of his meetings with Trump. I can't see Trump trusting Mueller at such a supposed meeting.

Not a whole lot to say for what you may not see either. Guess we’ll find out sometime, sooner than later I hope.

I never said I don’t like Sessions.

Just meant I quit defending him on here due to the IRS thingy. The other stuff, I know takes time.

I’ve never bashed him on here or anywhere else.
