FBI Probe Of Paul Manafort Focuses On 13 “Suspicious” Wire Transfers(from 2012)
Buzzfeed ^

Posted on 10/29/2017 6:20:04 AM PDT by janetjanet998

he FBI's investigation of Donald Trump's former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, includes a keen focus on a series of suspicious wire transfers in which offshore companies linked to Manafort moved more than $3 million all over the globe between 2012 and 2013.

Much of the money came into the United States.

These transactions — which have not been previously reported — drew the attention of federal law enforcement officials as far back as 2012, when they began to examine wire transfers to determine if Manafort hid money from tax authorities or helped the Ukrainian regime close to Russian President Vladimir Putin launder some of the millions it plundered through corrupt dealings.

The new revelations come as special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation is tightening, with reports that an indictment may already have been issued. It is not known if Manafort has been indicted, or if he ever will be. Manafort has been the subject of multiple law enforcement and congressional inquiries. A spokesperson for Manafort would not comment for this story about the investigation or any of the specific transactions, but Manafort has previously denied wrongdoing.

It’d help to see the Bernie investor list against the list of Clinton’s barrage of donors.

I see clearly that the C/F used the same MO as Bernie......Clinton’s inveterate globe-hopping and his “global interests” for example.

Besides the fact that Clinton is a more practiced con man than Bernie.

Find me the man and I’ll find you the crime.

Shades of Lavrenti Beria.

Its weak, and no where near the threat to America that Uranium One has posed.

No, it doesn’t. It’s slow. Manafort has been linked by Mulehead to Tony Podesta and the Podesta Group by two Grand Jurors who spoke to my friend Richard Baris.

That’s ALL Mulehead asked about. Manafort and the Podestas. Not one question about Trump or his family or Flynn.

Tony Two-Toes will be flipped. Bigger fish coming.

After 2 years of illegal wiretaps and 100 FBI agents, it better be more than a couple million dollar wires.

What if Manafort had given our uranium industry to the Russians? What would they say?

My thoughts exactly. I know he wasn’t with the Trump campaign for very long. But it is disturbing to think he may have been funneling info to the Hillary campaign.

Or, perhaps his only loyalties lie to himself. IOW, he serves whoever hires him to do a job.

There’s a ~ 4mo thread about the Podestas cashing out and buying art, jewelry, etc. in Europe.

timing is interesting. HRC was senator from NYS when Bernie went bust in fall 2008. All those wealthy ripped off NYS residents could have bootstrapped the CF/CGI by making sure she became Sec of State in January 2009. Be interesting to see how/where/to whom CF/CGI “disbursed” -but anyway would make sense that only 5% of “donations” made it to “charity”

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_investors_in_Bernard_L._Madoff_Investment_Securities

His victims list prolly would’nt intersect too directly tho

We may well be heading for a “Dossier, what Dossier?” and a “Uranium, what’s that?” Report out of Mueller.

If it ties to Clinton Foundation and Podesta than bring Manafort down and he will rat out the others. He will have nothing to lose

But somehow the clintons will be exempt from the same standards of conduct inquiry.

I always figured the examination of Managort was going to be for things unrelated to the election. Just wait, if he gets cuffed on Monday, the left is going to point to that as proof.

This is all “reality TV.”

“I always thought Manafort was a sleazebag Robert Evans wannabe. But, as you say, what does this have to do with Trump?”

I’m sure the MSM will be happy to fill-in those blanks for the Low-Information-Voters.

It seems that Harvey is not a billionaire, or even close.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4974906/Is-Harvey-broke-Weinstein-s-crisis-firm-mortage-revealed.html

EXCLUSIVE: Is Harvey Weinstein BROKE? Movie mogul borrowed $4 million from crisis loan firm - and slashed $1 million from Hamptons estate price then sold his mom’s house for $600,000 discount

Harvey Weinstein’s personal finances may be far more shaky than had been thought

DailyMail.com finds evidence he took out an $4 million mortgage from a crisis loan company on his Greenwich Village townhouse earlier this year

He turned to crisis loan company for the cash advance despite having a $6 million mortgage already on home worth estimated $12.5 million

His total personal mortgage borrowings are now at least $15.5 million, which at the average mortgage rate would cost him $71,000 a month

Weinstein is also hawking his most valuable property, an estate in the Hamptons which he and wife Georgina Chapman bought in 2012, slashing the price from $13.5 million to $12.8 million

And he sold his mother’s home in Westport, Connecticut, for $1.65 million just two days before the story of his sex shame broke - having cut the price by $600,000 to seal a deal

I personally think just about all door revolvers in wahsingon are sleazy. After a couple of years, corruption is just part of their life. They only pretend to be “polite” and gentle people. They aren’t.

Haha that’s chump change compared to the clintons.

Still, both Manafort and Flynn were scum for working for the Russians.
