The NAACP has issued a travel advisory warning against booking travel on American Airlines. The civil-rights organization cautions black travelers on the risks of experiencing discrimination while flying with American. American Airlines would like to meet with the NAACP regarding their concerns. The NAACP has cautioned black travelers to be careful when flying with American Airlines.
In a statement on Tuesday, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) instituted a national travel advisory warning black passengers of potential discriminatory and unsafe practices at American Airlines.
"The NAACP for several months now has been monitoring a pattern of disturbing incidents reported by African-American passengers, specific to American Airlines," the civil rights organization said in the statement. "In light of these confrontations, we have today taken the action of issuing national advisory alerting travelers—especially African Americans—to exercise caution, in that booking and boarding flights on American Airlines could subject them disrespectful, discriminatory or unsafe conditions."

1. Has the NAALCP issued a warning to blacks about traveling to Rahm Emmanuel's murderous metropolis of Chicago? I am betting blacks face FAR more danger in that Democrat hole than any given AA flight.
2. AA has a major hub in Miami. One of the local stations asked some black travelers at the airport...they said they experienced NO discrimination. So it sounds like there is a CIVIL WAR going on within the black community, doesn't it?
3. OTOH, one or two of the travelers DID express concern and urged the two sides to "talk". One woman said she would definitely NOT fly AA because of the NAALCP's propaganda. If thls results in fewer snowflakes flying AA, maybe that'll make for more pleasant flights.
4. In typical "fear the shakedown" fashion, AA has issued an apology of sorts. Would be nice if someday a corporation getting hit like this would ignore it or fight back against the race baiters. Even pretending this griping is valid demeans REAL victims of racism.

If we’re going to Balkanize ourselves and issue travel advisories, I’ve got a long list of urban areas to avoid.
So, I used Al Gore’s Amazing Internet to gather some facts.
American airlines transported 146,550,000 passengers in 2015. Blacks make us 13% of US population. Since I highly doubt American Airlines sells their tickets based on any color but green, we have to assume that 13% of their passengers are black. That would be 19,051,500 passengers. How many of them faced actual discrimination?
I’d hazard that the number would be awful close to zero. Airlines operate on a relatively tight budget averaging 6.18% profit margin over the past five years. In 2015, their profit in dollars was about $7,000,000,000. The average price of a flight is $509.15. Multiply that by 19 million and American Airlines would have lost over $2,000,000,000. That’s 2 billion.
C’mon NAACP, I figured that out in five minutes. Do you really think American Airlines is stupid enough to chase away 2 billion dollar in profit?
And change your name. The C in NAACP is racist
The NAACP donations must be drying up so a big corporation has to be targeted.
So if the NAACP gets its wish, AA will soon be known as the carrier that has no black people at the departure gates or on flights.....

My experience is that AA and Delta and United are all places/things to avoid. And I am white.
