In California, I might go with P.C. 288;

288.   (a) Except as provided in subdivision (i), any person who willfully and lewdly commits any lewd or lascivious act, including any of the acts constituting other crimes provided for in Part 1, upon or with the body, or any part or member thereof, of a child who is under the age of 14 years, with the intent of arousing, appealing to, or gratifying the lust, passions, or sexual desires of that person or the child, is guilty of a felony and shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for three, six, or eight years.

I'd at least arrest him and let the courts figure it out.

Lewd acts, also known as “lewd and lascivious conduct,” refers to any act that is sexual in nature, which would be considered indecent or shocking to a reasonable person. This might include the exposing of genitalia in public, also referred to as “indecent exposure,” fondling oneself in public, or participating in prostitution or public viewing of pornography, as well as urinating in public, and making sexually vulgar phone calls.

I have no idea what the laws are in Florida.

Yet another always hard-working, always under-paid “educator” doing things “for the children”.

“And this is a charter school. You can’t even trust them.

If you are not home schooling your kids, or sending them to Christian schools, you exposing them to abuse and crippling their future.”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

You can’t even trust charter/private schools.

When we (wife and I) looked into the method to teach our children, after immediately throwing out public schools, we researched charter/private schools.

Our conclusion on charter/private schools is that while most are much better academically than public schools, the social interaction between students and student/teachers was still very poor. We weren’t willing to take that chance with the gifts that God gave us, and also knowing the responsibility He placed on us to raise our children.

I agree, but it depends on the private school administration, and what kind of teachers they hire. A big problem is that the government school system has a guaranteed stream of funding. Private schools need to fundraise, and big donors (and their children) may sometimes get treated under a different set of rules. Moreover, private school teacher compensation tends to be lower, which makes it harder to attract the best Christian teachers.

The system isn’t very fair to Christians, but would perhaps be MUCH fairer if more of us had the courage and wisdom to get out of the public school system.

“They aren’t safe in school because their teacher is sick?”

My 5th is graduating high school this year. My last is in 7th grade.

Ghandi would have slapped some of these people.
