i’ve watched a lot of baseball games in my life. The national anthem is very rarely shown on tv. A lot of times its 10 minutes before the actual game starts, and the broadcast hasn’t started yet.

This won’t be a popular opinion, but i’m sort of over the whole national anthem obsession, especially with regards to baseball. One guy was kneeling, and his team didn’t even make the playoffs. If you’re going to stare at the screen looking for someone to kneel in the post season during the national anthem in baseball, you aren’t going to find anyone. So relax. And enjoy the game.

FWIW, for me the National Anthem, the halftime shows, 7th inning stretches were a big part of why I enjoyed the games. I could give a dang about what talking heads think about anything, incessant commercial breaks, timeouts...

Enjoy the games? I haven’t for years.
