George W. Bush hinted Thursday at his dissatisfaction with Donald Trump, complaining in a New York City speech that 'bullying and prejudice' has become a caustic norm in American public life.

At an event hosted by the George W. Bush Institute, the 43rd U.S. president rattled off a thinly veiled litany of complaints about the current commander-in-chief, focusing on both his tone and his isolationist policy choices.

Shut up, W, most of us who voted for you are glad you’re gone.

Trump is the president that we hoped you would be but weren’t.

Go back to hugging Rats who pretend to respect you, but call you a stupid chimp behind your back.

Thank you, GWB, for reminding me of why I lost most respect and all concern for you over the last two years.
Now I remember... You, Jeb! & Poppy Bush, all Globalist relics, eager to sell conservatism out, fine with being made a public fool of over and over again, fine with bending yourself in a pretzel just to keep the Race Card from being dealt on you.

Go home GWB. Go home and paint some pretty pictures.
Seems you have forgotten what conservative leadership can look like.

Yes.

That was the biggest source of my disappointment with him.

By not defending himself against the leftist triple threat of the Media, Academia, and Hollywood, he was not defending US either. If he had stood up to them, Obama may never have gotten any traction.

We defended him, but he would not defend himself.

It was the FIRST THING I liked about Donald Trump...the CONTRAST!

George, look in the mirror before you speak about others shortcomings.

Yes. Back in the previous century, a candidate’s oratory skills and ideas meant a lot.

Then, mid-twentieth, being “telegenic’ became important. I think that the Kennedy/Nixon debate really was the defining moment for that.

Once again this worthless turd comes out of retirement to remind me that I really did f*ck up voting for him twice. I did try to “redeem myself” last year by doing my part to make sure that his idiot brother “Little Yebbie,” was relegated to the ash heap of political history. Now if only McStain will hurry up and die so I don’t have to beat myself up for having sent him money when he ran for president, life will return to some semblance of order for me.

Dubya’s legacy is doing the rope-a-dope with his hands by his side and letting his enemies pound him. As they say: I can’t spare Trump - he fights!

True, but your assessment of Bush assumes that he actually disagreed with those whom he refused to fight. It should now be clear to all in hindsight that the Presidents Bush were both globalists, and that they despise Donald Trump because he is a nationalist. The Bushes were never really on our side.

...’”bullying and prejudice’ has become a caustic norm in American public life.” How goes this statement hint at President Trumps causation? The Dem's and leftists have pushed this agenda, not Trump.

George W. Bush, I voted for you twice and have no regrets. But the fact is you were wrong then and you still are now about our side always taking the high ground and never fighting back. We tried it your way for eight years, we watched as you stood up there silently with your dumb grin and refused to fight back while Democrats hit you with every filthy attack in their arsenal. And what did it get you by taking the high road and refusing to fight back because "it was beneath the dignity of the President"? It got you the lowest approval ratings in modern history, a democrat congress and eight years of Obama. The feckless John McCain and Mitt Romney tried it your way as well. How did that work out?

No, it more than high time for someone who is willing to throw the mud right back and punch back twice as hard when attacked.

He is the reason why his brother lost the primary to Trump. We are tired of milquetoast Republicans. We want fighters.

From the guy who just sat there as the dems and MSM pummelled him day after day after day. About this new guy who fights back and crushed the Bush dynasty.

Hey W why don’t you have another drink and spend a little more time with your “brother from another mother” rapist Clinton?

Bush kept his mouth shut for 8 years of Obama abuses but feels compelled to pop off against Trump.

Really not very interested in listening to Bush.

Sixteen years W.

Sixteen years I’ve had to suffer under your milquetoast stupidity and watched as you refused to fight back and then endorsed idiotic ideas and concepts to try to show you weren’t a “bad” conservative.

Then for the last 8 years I’ve had to watch you sit and do NOTHING as Obama attacked both your legacy and the GOP and conservatives while you let people proclaim you did so out of respect for the presidency.

Now you turn right around and attack Trump and promote capitulation to the DNC.

FU. It’s obvious now you never were a supporter of the GOP let alone a supporter of conservatism or the values of this great country - which remains great in spite of you.

I support Trump. I do not support you or your family. To the dust bin of history with you.
