George W. Bush hinted Thursday at his dissatisfaction with Donald Trump, complaining in a New York City speech that 'bullying and prejudice' has become a caustic norm in American public life.

At an event hosted by the George W. Bush Institute, the 43rd U.S. president rattled off a thinly veiled litany of complaints about the current commander-in-chief, focusing on both his tone and his isolationist policy choices.

“I still assert that we dodged a bullet when Obama beat McCain.”

That one throws me into cognitive dissonance. Obama was the worst president i can imagine. A bisexual Indonesian who’s entire family was a Hawaiian communist party cell just in like Big Jim McClean... or a lunatic traitor bribe-taker with brain cancer.

We sure get some good choices, don’t we?

Forbes or McCain couldn’t have beaten Gore and Lieberman in 2000, but it is what it is.

Most people were sure a Black Marxist couldn't win in 2008 nor an Orange reality star in 2016. Sometimes you just have to give it a shot.

This clown lost me when he let Scooter rot away only giving him a belated commutation.

Maybe we should not have been as hard on Rather as we were.

During the 1988 campaign an old newsreel from World War II was aired on TV showing George H. W. Bush being fished out of the ocean after being shot down by the Japanese.

I can’t help but wonder how American history would have unfolded if Poppy Bush had not survived his encounter with the pilots of the Imperial Japanese Navy. His useless sons would never have been born, for starters. Makes one wonder about history and it’s possible timelines.

the attacks will get worse and worse....in their attempt to take DJT down. They will pull out all stops in my humble opinion.

I remember that airliner training aid but Saddam was a bush league sponsor of outside terror. Very minor. He was more concerned with terrorizing within Iraq and ruling Iraq. It was not worth invading for that amount of terrorist training

Take Iran...now that was and is a real state sponsor of terrorism.

His response to that was as good as could be expected.

You are looking at his response through the lens of history and are clouded by normalcy bias.

He could have declared war on Islam. He could have correctly identified our enemy. He could have gone after Saudi Arabia. He could have turned the world against that evil religion.

Instead, he decided to glorify the religion. He decided to call it a religion of peace. He decided use the tragedy of 9/11 as an excuse for "nation building" and geopolitical maneuvering. After 16 years we are no safer than we were on 9/11. We spent billions of dollars on nothing. We have traded our liberties away for nothing. We have sacrificed thousands of military lives for nothing.

GWB is the worst president we have ever had. Period.

GWB, was a miserable failure on border security see: Secure Fence Act of 2006

A complete colossal failure that only built 14 miles of fence...

Yes, the country is still in serious trouble.

TPTB do not accept the outcome of the 2016 election. They expected Hillary’s coronation and to continue business as normal.

No surprise. This family, members of the New England aristocracy, has always been anti-Semitic. No wonder they cozy up with Muslims..the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Talk about bigotry! W was born into it and raised under it. His grandfather Prescott collaborated with the Nazis, and by association, with the Muslim Brotherhood. They have fooled people for 100 years. At last, the mask is being torn asunder.

With Obama, we did not have a full-on nuclear war.

With McBrainCancer, we would have. Damned guarantee.

“He was more concerned with terrorizing within Iraq and ruling Iraq.”

Well, he seemed interested in fighting an eight-year war with Iran, with invading Kuwait, and with positioning his military for an invasion of Saudi Arabia.

John Adams: Great federalist but as president signed the Alien and Sedition acts suspending most civil liberties. One termer.
James Madison: Author of the constitution but as president blundered into the War of 1812, which we could well have lost.
Andrew Jackson: Signed and enforced the Indian Removal Act which killed thousands. Implemented the spoils system.

Was Bush using cocaine in the White House? His grades were better than Kerry's (C+ vs C). Don't think he can be called a moron. Besides, some of our worst presidents have scored highest on the IQ scale. Not sure intelligence is as important for a president as leadership ability and the ability to adapt to changing conditions.

Those who are surprised by Bush may not remember that back in 1994 when grassroots Californians fought hard to pass the anti-illegal alien Prop 187, that then Texas Gov GW Bush joined the fight firmly on the side of Mexico’s illegal alien invaders. Some of us discovered what he was right then.

“So sad that W is simply mouthing the slogans and cliches of the Left. “

There’s a reason that he never once criticized Obama or Obama’s legions.

But he now eagerly, if in somewhat veiled fashion, attacks Trump and Trump voters.

“Now, he is going to go back on his own principles to attack the REPUBLICAN president?”

W’s principles are to never attack Presidents who see themselves as Citizens of the World.

But a President who puts America First is an enemy.

What a jerk!

Remember Freepers he said NOTHING when Obama was tearing the country apart.

Now you know what side he always was on...., and why conservatives were betrayed.

Hopefully, Limbaugh will MAN UP, and ditch his W for siding with the Globalist.
