I watched Jeff Sessions during this hearing and imho this goes nowhere. His legalese and political dance was nauseating to watch.
Can someone assure me that Jeff Sessions is on our side....really?
“Rosenstein gets to decide if he’ll investigate himself or not. Sounds like a brilliant plan.”
Hannity played that exchange between grassley and sessions...sessions said that Rosenstein is a good man & he has complete faith in his ability to make the right decision.
Session is checked out—recused. IOW, a deep-state compromised rat bastard. It’s starting to look like he was picked early on to infiltrate the Trump campaign as a ‘control’.

All these people care more about their own hides than the country they’re supposed to be serving. If one is caught with his pants down he’s told he’ll be destroyed if he doesn’t do as he’s told. If he resigns his family will be destroyed.
Or he is one of them placed close to Trump as an insurance policy.
From all appearances, Sessions is as much on our side as is McCain or McConnell. And to add insult to injury, there are some here who defend Sessions.
One thing I like about President Trump is he does not beat around the bush like a politician. He gets right to the point. Sessions sounded like a politician to me. However I am willing to wait and see.
He will fail, because he is.
It’s infuriating.
Sessions praising Rosenstein, when it was Rosenstein, along with Mueller and McCabe, who allowed the uranium scandal to go forward without ANY objection.
Those around him are utterly corrupt and he’s not holding them accountable, which tells me he is corrupt as well and should be fired immediately.

Not commenting about “ongoing investigations” is how the deal got approved even though law enforcement already knew about the bribery! If the investigation is pertinent to the current business of the U.S. government or national security interests, it is their JOB to comment.

I agree. Trump publicly humiliated Sessions in hopes he would take the hint and step down...He didn’t.
When it looked like Trump was going to fire him, lindsay graham came out & said “There will be hell to pay” if he does.
Sessions is REFUSING TO STEP DOWN & REFUSING TO DO HIS JOB.
Let that sink in.
The corrupt swamp has their ‘control’ right where they want him. Everything fell perfectly into place after Sessions recused himself. Rosenstein in control & a special counsel coup set up to go after Trump and bury incriminating evidence against Hillary-Obama.

You might get an argument from some who consider McConnell’s wife (Chao) to head the Transportation Agency Trump’s biggest mistake.

The use of vague words is very much swamp talk and Sessions has it down pat.
Really sick of these investigations going nowhere.
I’d love to start seeing the results of this investigation about next September.
Listening to that exchange sounds to me like Sessions is saying someone already went to jail over “that” transaction.
In other words, it was investigated and justice was served. Case close.
Sessions appears compromised.
His reply sounds exactly like what Holder or Lynch would say.
