Swarthmore students burn American flag on Columbus Day

On Columbus Day, the Swarthmore Indigenous Students Association (SISA) burned the American flag and issued a set of demands, including removal of the flag from campus.

The demands, posted on flyers in the campus dining hall, also called on Swarthmore College to “admit and recruit native students,” asserting that “Swarthmore has consistently had a student body that is less than 1% indigenous,” possibly because it “does not recruit on any reservations or at any of the Native schools.”

I will bet that they have actually invested quite a bit of money in remedial education and useless identity majors so they can tap into the endless free no strings attatched money trough generated by free grants for the uneducable. Soon they will reap the benefits of all that free money by having gaggles of roaming uncontrollable “students” destroying their infrastructure, and scaring real students and researchers away. My husband is an electrical engineer. He lived & went to school in a state with a large indigenous population. At the state college where he went, in the ee department there was at least 1 spot set aside for an Indian student. He said in all the years he was there it was never filled.

I can’t believe there Indian population didn’t know they could go to college. Probably for or close to free.
