Exactly. Trump’s successes expose their failures and duplicity.

Shouldn’t we be doing this with a Democrat Majority leader or Democrat Speaker?? Mitch is scared finally.

Probably Gen. Kelly, Trump’s boss, forgot to tell the President that Steve Bannon no longer works for them.

Yes, its true that Moore’s win shocked the GOPe but Mitch is too entrenched and arrogant to be scared. He and his allies are just shifting to other tactics to continue obstructing and stalling Trump’s progress. They cannot allow the Outsider to win for fear it will open the door to future outsiders. The Swamp protects its own. That’s all it cares about.

I would settle for McConnell adjourning the Senate for a real Christmas recess, so that Trump can make a bunch of recess appointments. The lag in getting confirmations done is getting ridiculous.

For the first time, the GOP elites like McConnell are genuinely afraid of Trump’s voting base.
They now see the peril they are in.
And McConnell may see what Trump is doing (I sorta doubt it), but mitch is caught in the maelstrom.

I am thinking we are witnessing the President's and Bannon’s Mutt and Jeff/Good Cop, Bad Cop routine playing out against his adversaries and the media. It worked in Alabama and it may work with McConnell. The President keeps them off balance as they ask themselves - does he really mean the positive things he says about the RINOs? Or, is he just stringing them along while Bad Boy Bannon proceeds to lower the boom in the backfield?
To: gaijin
Nah. Art of the deal. Trump smells blood in the water and apparently thinks he has Mitch in a place where he can get him to cry Uncle.
To: E. Pluribus Unum
That’ll work as well as supporting Luther.
To: gaijin
LOL! Trump knows his friends will laugh at the request.
This is a kick to the Swamp Turtle’s nuts.
