Road to WAR: China's secret plans for North Korea INVASION revealed

CHINA is preparing for a massive land invasion of North Korea, shocking new photos suggest.

By David Trayner / Published 16th October 2017

The Communist superpower is building a six-lane highway in a sparsely populated area of its cold and windy north east.

The massive new motorway snakes across an area where very few of the local peasants have a car and there is little traffic or trade.

It’s destination? The North Korean border.

Experts believe there can only be one explanation for the so-called G1112 Ji'an–Shuangliao Expressway: getting tanks and troops to the border quickly.

Daily Star Online has obtained pictures from inside China of the huge construction.

To: drop 50 and fire for effect
As noted above, it is more likely to be a line of communication to existing forces and/or a way to reinforce the border in a crisis. The Chinese use the Kims as their pet psychos for their own purposes. If they intervene, it will be to support the Kim dynasty, not attack it.

Exactly. China's purpose is to make sure that North Korea remains their proxy and is not subsumed by the South. The last thing China wants is a unified Korea aligned with the US. The purpose of the highway is more likely to serve as a conduit to reinforce the North--or to invade the South from the North and thus make Korea a unified proxy state of China.

The only question is WHY get them to the border. To repel the UN victors, or to stop the NK aggression?

1) To stop millions of NK refugees from flooding into China.

2) To keep any military forces from entering Chinese territory - especially fleeing NK units.

Repelling UN troops may be a nice pretext to moving in unchallenged. Once in, they will exact a price for their protection. PLA can be invited in but making them leave may not be up to Kim Jong-un.

They are certainly not building it to accommodate
a flood of millions of North korean refugees into
the heart of China.

With a great view to the dormant volcano Kim Jong-un is doing a great job at rattling back to life with his nuke test.

Taking a selfie with the erupting volcano as a backdrop would be an "once-in-a-life-time experience." The said Amazon headquarter would be another landmark a la Pompeii.

“Total noob here, but I assumed the tanks/tracked vehicles would be transported 99% of the way on transporters, like we do.”

Well, that would be ideal. But, if you’ve ever seen those low-boys that big cats and other earth moving eq are hauled on you’ll get some idea what it would be like deploying armor and other military eq on unimproved roads using these. Btw, China is working feverishly to develop the ability to project power and become a world class player militarily which requires the ability to project power internationally but they have a very very long way to go. My guess is this super highway is a component of their larger military strategy to do this. Actually, transporting by rail would be their best option. However, don’t have a clue whether there are any railroad tracks running to the border or not.

A North Korean agency made a threat Thursday that Pyongyang could stage an “unimaginable” strike on the United States at an unexpected time amid tensions over the North’s nuclear and missile programs.

“The U.N. North Korea sanctions cover 90 percent of North Korea’s official exports,” Kang said in her report. “If the [latest] sanctions are implemented it is expected North Korea would be prevented from earning about $1.3 billion.”

Kang added, “Textiles, the second most important export, when banned could incur a loss of $800 million a year.”

The inspection of North Korea vessels at sea also shows “China’s attitude has changed” toward Pyongyang.
