Bullcrap. A coach pushing a kid in training and them getting a pulled muscle isn’t assault and battery. Are you kidding?

No, not kidding. When the girl is screaming "stop" and the coach does not stop, that is assault. When injuries occur, that's battery. When I went through martial arts training as a young man, we were taught to tap out when the pain became too great, and the exercise would terminate. Otherwise, injuries would occur. This coach was negligent. If on a jury, I would deem him guilty.

You graduated East High School in 1970. So what is your point. There were no white cheerleaders in 1970. What is your point?! Are you meaning to say that the black cheerleaders in 2016 are racist bigots?! What is your point?! There may have been a black cheerleader who was abused. It now may be that democrats are now posting on Free Republic to infiltrate the web site to spread their Facist Communist agenda.
