No shots fired reports. Don’t know what time Breitbart reported this:

‘This Will Be like the Balkans’: Kirkuk Governor Urges Trump to Prevent Iraqi Invasion

(Iraqi Shias advancing...20k Sunnis “pledged” Kurds their support)

http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2017/10/14/this-like-balkans-kirkuk-governor-urges-trump-prevent-iraqi-invasion/

Erik Prince, a former Navy SEAL who founded military contractor company Blackwater, urged the U.S. government to intervene on behalf of the Kurds.

“The Kurds have been our most reliable ally in fighting against ISIS,” he told Breitbart in a phone interview on Saturday. “There’s no doubt here whatsoever who the good guys are and who the bad guys are.”

“If the United States doesn’t prevent a Shia-PMU invasion, you are guaranteeing a civil war in Iraq,” he said.

snip

He called the impending battle a “failure of diplomacy” by the State Department, specifically ISIS envoy Brett McGurk, who is a holdover from the Obama administration.

“This is a failure of the Brett McGurk … and the same bad judgment of the Obama administration was carried over because he was not removed and replaced,” he said. “This could have been a much better-negotiated issue, but McGurk hasn’t performed for the duration of his time there.”

In two weeks the Kurds will take Baghdad. If there seems to be one thing the Iraqis are pretty good at, it is surrendering.

it’s the mideast, these tribes ( all of them ) have been throwing rocks at each other for 5,000 years. They’ll keep throwing rocks at each other for the next 5,000 years. It’s always hilarious when some American starts explaining why his favorite mideast tribe is the best and the others are barbarians.

The paradox is all these tribes are ethnically and genetically similar. All of them; the local Jews & Palastinians are basically the same semitic people. The zillion variations of Arabs tribes are pretty much the same as the Kurds and Turks and what have you. They scream bloody murder when one states this obvious truth; because it just the mideast and they must squabble for ever.

There are excellent articles out there on why Arabs make such lousy soldiers. The main reason is distrust for everyone (nation against nation, tribe against tribe, clan against clan, brother against brother) Add to that the idea that information is something to be held and not shared. As a result of not sharing info the Sgt. trained on operating a piece of artillery will not teach his cpl or pvts. on how to use it so if he dies the piece becomes useless.

Even though the powers that be think they are in control, it is actually God who is in control and His timeline is His own. Each war is but a battle in that timeline against evil, holding the line until that promise/prophecy is fulfilled. You know, the one we sing about, Peace on earth and good will to men.

Those who lay down their lives for their friends (they don’t fight for policy), the greatest love, are not dying in vain.

Through heaven’s eyes from Prince of Egypt. Moses was in the desert for 40 yrs before he was called back to Egypt. He was 80. When Abraham was told about his family, God said they would be in another land for 400 years. Gen 15.

The salvation of man is told in each book of the Bible and in each book from Genesis to Malachi shows how God’s timeline continues. Took 3k years. :)

Coalition Threatens Downing Iraqi Jets If Fly to Attack Kurds: MP

http://www.basnews.com/index.php/en/news/kurdistan/385806

ERBIL — The US-led Coalition forces have warned the Iraqi central government to avoid violence and especially using airpower against the Kurdish Peshmerga forces in the northern city of Kirkuk, said a Kurdish lawmaker.

Member of the Iraqi parliament, Shakhawan Abdullah, told Kurdistan 24 that the Coalition forces have warned to down any Iraqi figure jet if used to carry out attack on Peshmerga positions.

He explained that Baghdad’s military action against Kurdistan Region is an obvious violation of article 9 from the Iraqi constitution. It also violates the military agreement between Washington and Baghdad, which requires military forces avoiding interference in political issues between internal sides.

Please do some basic research: it’s the mideast, these tribes ( all of them ) have been throwing rocks at each other for 5,000 years. They’ll keep throwing rocks at each other for the next 5,000 years.

It’s always hilarious when some American starts explaining why his favorite mideast tribe is the best and the others are barbarians.
Most of these tribes have not existed for anywhere near 5,000 years. Jews were one of the founders of Western civilization.

The paradox is all these tribes are ethnically and genetically similar. All of them; the local Jews & Palastinians are basically the same semitic people.

Not really. Jews are Jews and Palestinians are Palestinians. National Identity and religiou matter. Also, you are wrong about genetics.

The zillion variations of Arabs tribes are pretty much the same as the Kurds and Turks and what have you
Yes and no. Arabic is a Semitic language. Kurdish is a group of Iranic languages (Aryan branch of Indo-European). The Turkish spoken by those in the Republic of Turkey is Altaic (a completely seperate language family) and the pre-existing Anatolians were Indo-Europeans.

Hilarious and thanks for proving my point. The bickering squabbling tribesmen of the Mideast are always quick to point out the ‘vast’ differences between the different tribes. They’ll lecture in boring detail how this tribe is different because blah blah blah. They also enjoy highlighting how their particular favorite tribe is responsible for all that’s good while those other nasty tribes are responsible for all that’s bad.

You post is a perfect example.

Again, I wish no harm to any of these people. As far as I am concerned, they are all the same. Just keep America out of it.

If one tribe comes out on top, it immediately splits into factions and starts squabbling among them selves. It’s a 5,000 year old pattern.

I point out that these are different tribal, ethnic, religious, and racial groups and your reponse is that you think they are all the same. Facts are entirely irrelevant to your argument. That's sad.
Lying and insulting groups is not isolationist or America first. You are being quarrelsome to quarrelsome.

Dude,

they ARE all the same bickering squabbling backward tribes. Their entire history is one of intercine squabbles; eternally splitting whenever peace happens. You are infected with the ‚my favorite tribe‘ syndrome. It happens to many who inexplicably can‘t see the forest for the trees.

read Joesphus - it’s the same old stuff today.
