Lisa Crawford said she was a property manager for the suspected gunman, Stephen Paddock, in Texas and recalls him as generous to his tenants as new details emerge about the note Paddock left behind.

1. a property manager knows SCP as normal for 6 years of business dealings in which SCP demonstrated if anything kindness towards others, which imho is not consistent with a person who becomes a mass murderer
2. according to the property manager, SCP has an email account. this implies to me that the investigators should be able to find something that points to a motive. with an email account, they would have access to years if not decades of messages to and from SCP and this normally imho should be very revealing of his personality one way or another. LE profilers should have a field day if SCP is truly the perp. Otherwise, LE profilers might be dragging their feet on the email messages all the way to a civily liability trial discovery and perhaps beyond; concurrently we might expect to start hearing phrases such as "lone nut" and "suddenly snapped" (regardless of whether the phrases have any validity).
This article and many others in the last week or two describe SCP as "the shooter" before he had a trial and before any motive has been identified.
The lack of motive must be setting a world record by about now.
The property manager's reaction seems to me similar to the brother's reaction: surprise and shock, along with sadness. They have undoubtedly been told that there is no realistic doubt that SCP is the shooter and they seemed resigned to that. I wonder if they are familiar with the SCP-as-patsy conjecture and if so if that would change their outlook and their on screen reaction to questions.
(This is a few days old, but it does seem relevant to me, and I have not seen it posted so far.)

Hitler was widely praised by his associates.
Many other mass killers were described as kind.
Mass killers who are suicidal often see themselves striking out at society for being unjust or cruel.
WAs does the note keep evolving?
Why does the note keep evolving?
As more and more information comes out I find myself believing less and less.
Even the property manager seems a bit squirrely to me.
I don’t get the need to break down in these interviews.
One moment she seems okay, and then she just seems to pour it on.
I realize these were a collection of clips. Still seems a put put-on, the emotion.
Wondering if Paddock wasn’t the shooter but some how set up and killed.
When was the last time he was sent coming and going on tape. Could he have been a hostage in the room ??
This must be a first. I can’t remember any high profile mass murder event where we knew this little this late. I don’t know if the authorities know precisely what the motive is, but I have to believe they at least have a hint and know more than they are letting on.
I’m guessing she is over emotional because she had feelings for him.
I haven’t seen any change of the information that was on the “note”.
This video reinforces what has been released about it, that it contained information on ranges, bullet drops, and wind.
Its not possible that, in possession of his laptop and his email account, having searched his houses, and with his bank account, they do not know the motive.
The fact that they keep investigating trying to deduce the motive tells me they know the motive and don’t like it. Or, as some suggest, he’s the patsy. So they start parsing and slicing words.
The longer they go, the less I believe.
I leave it at that.
You may be right. Perhaps I’m too critical.
Thanks.
The Austin Texas shooting in 1966 took a while because they had to perform an autopsy to find the tumor.
There have been others, just shown as “mental problems”, it really doesn’t tell us much other than put a label on it.
Its not possible that, in possession of his laptop and his email account, having searched his houses, and with his bank account, they do not know the motive.
They might have some theories about motive, but very possible they do not know. After all, he is dead, and was a pretty secretive guy.
About a third of the population are introverts, and do not expose their inner thoughts to the general public.
Some people have email but use it very little. I use email extensively but avoid the phone like the plague. Proves nothing.
Motive can be many things. To a certain kind of person, pulling off the “perfect crime” while leaving no trace of a motive can be a motive itself.
Not one frame of tape.
That almost makes more sense.
ABC News is so worthless it makes me sick to hear them. Just tell the facts. We don’t need your pathetic drama you sick parasites.
Her performance seems a little hysterically ‘put-on’, to me - just like the brother’s seemed.
I don’t know if this is just the discomfort at being interviewed and video-ed, felt by people who aren’t used to it but who sense that they are expected to appear a certain way - or if it speaks to something else.
The idea they need to appear a certain way may play into it.
It’s a sad subject, and perhaps she felt she was required to show a lot of remorse.
To me, it looked like she was forcing it.
I could be wrong. Perhaps this is one of those times when I shouldn’t have commented. Some subjects don’t require commentary.
