In an attempt to diffuse the association with democrats, author uses a childish technique to broaden the discussion to everyone, including Republicans; WHO HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS STORY. IN fact, Trump is mentioned in the opening paragraph, and he has nothing to do with this.
