This is good - but could be dangerous. Lefties are known to go psycho when their world view is challenged.

This is the woman that threw the drink. My new hero!!

Our country’s civil war is still a cold one. It seems to be getting warmer, though.

Will antifa make it a hot one today? Looks like they are at least trying to.

No it’s not good. I don’t want to live in a country like North Korea, where people are punished for not showing enough loyalty to the state.

I stand for the national anthem, but it is my choice to do so or not.

I remember my dad taking me to the circus and I was so upset at the stupid dog trainer hitting a little dog that I threw my drink at him...

Her throwing the drink was in no way to protest someone sitting during the anthem. It was to protest some unrelated issue in the world ;)

Of course you are. No one has said anything different. You may stand or sit, it is your choice but you will also suffer the consequences of your actions.

...people are punished for not showing enough loyalty to the state.

Uh...in case you missed it...this woman is not the STATE.

She is a private citizen, apparently incensed by the fact that other private citizens are disrespecting every thing she thinks is worthy of her being incensed about it in the first place.

And, probably only a LITTLE influenced by the consumption of adult beverages.

Be that as it may, she does not represent any governmental organization, has no authority to castigate these cretins in the name of the state...but, she has exercised the same rights that the cretins did, albeit in a manner that society as a whole frowns upon.

But on the other hand, it is well known and documented that private citizens will, eventually, rise up and correct the very thing that has continued to irritate them beyond reason.

Assault?...meh, maybe...but I'd bet very few juries would convict her.

So, the STATE would fail in that endeavor...and one would have to go far to make a case that she was acting in a official capacity, even though POTUS and the VPOTUS have gone on record as opposing the shameful and disrespectful actions of the cretins.

But neither of them have done so in the name of the STATE and no directives have been issued by authorities.

Which brings us right back to the first point...she committed no OFFICIAL act...just a sorta, kinda, stupid one.

So...your false equivalency is...false.

B.S. "Society as a whole" doesn't just frown upon it. It's a crime.

Where's the story of Sanctimonious A-Hole #2 beating the sh!t out of Sanctimonious A-Hole #1 for holding a drink while the national anthem was playing?

I wonder what the punishment will be for a white person throwing a drink on a black person disrespecting the police and military versus a black person throwing a drink on a white person disrespecting MLK day?

Should be the same.

Assault and battery, technically. I agree about the likely verdict.
