ARLINGTON Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said any players in his organization who disrespect the flag during the national anthem will not play in games.
Jones is the first owner in the NFL to go on record about disciplining players who disrespect the flag during the national anthem. He didn’t specify kneeling or raising fists in the arm or other gestures made by players around the league.
Jones made his strongest statements regarding the national anthem protests throughout the NFL after Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
“If there is anything disrespecting the flag, then we will not play. Period,” Jones said. “We’re going to respect the flag and I’m going to create the perception of it.”

I guess Jerry’s seeing some bottom-line numbers and he isn’t happy.
Nothing like shutting the barn door after the horses get out.

Last week he was kneeling.
He spent a little time playing the social justice game and it left a bad taste in his mouth.

As he showed us previously, talk is cheap. After he benches a few players I’ll believe him.

He has already given the most public endorsement of any team owner. Being photographed kneeling in his Sky-Blue Blazer, palling around with Progressives. A little late to start cracking the whip.

Looks like the money threat from sponsors and fan rang the NFL’s bell. The place must be crawling with corruption$$.
The organization is cult like. And they’re sure getting sacked by the Trump effect.
This is exactly what I said today about Steve Ross. But the offending players should be suspended without pay, not merely benched.
He had a chance to show some guts...and instead he put on a little show on his knee with his boys. Forget it, Jerry, the guys you were protesting the other week with your anti-American employees sometimes don’t get a second chance. I have no respect for you whatsoever, living your luxury life of entitlement.
Bench them? Ooooooooooo, scary tough stuff!
