Despite the insufferable Chris Wallace this interview with Steve Wynn is interesting from the perspective of a guy who knows everything there is to know about the security behind operating massive hotels and casinos in Las Vegas.
Additionally, as one might expect, it appears Mr. Wynn might be holding some insider information on the attack. The point about hotel guests using service elevators seemed more Freudian than accidental.

VIP’s, entertainers, celebrities, political figures and other high profile individuals are often brought into a hotel through the loading dock, walking through the kitchen when necessary and going to their suites using the service elevator. In addition to their traveling security detail there is always a presence of hotel security on hand who have the keys to override the elevator. There is indeed another whole level of security back of the house.

Also tired of the media always pushing for more control of people. Vegas isn’t about getting your stuff scanned via a guard or cameras outside your door watching everything going on around your hotel room. PRIVACY.

This would not have happened in mafia Vegas, just corporate one worlder Vegas.
I don’t fly much but I can’t think of the last time I drove somewhere and stayed at a hotel or camped unarmed.
