A University of Nevada, Las Vegas professor was secretly filmed by one of her students during class telling them that President Donald Trump may be partly to blame for last Sunday night’s horrific massacre that killed 58 people and wounded over 400.
Tessa Winkelmann, an assistant professor at UNLV, made the remarks Thursday to her History 407 class, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
She was recorded by an anonymous student saying that she thought ‘people will die’ in the aftermath of Trump’s election.
‘Right when he got elected, I told my classes, three semesters ago, that some of us won’t be affected by this presidency, but others are going to die,’ Winkelmann says in the video obtained by the newspaper.
‘Other people will die because of this.’

People like this are clearly revealing they don’t have the qualifications these jobs require.

I'd even go so far as to say it could be a form of child abuse so severe it would prevent her from being anywhere near a school; including colleges.
If she wanted to take a class herself; she should have to do it online. She's just plain dangerous. What she's doing is akin to screaming "Fire" in a crowded classroom when there isn't one thereby endangering all those there.

Assistant Professors are those who are NOT yet tenured. If there is ANY justice, she should be dismissed from this college and not allowed to pursue a tenured position there.

She received her B.A. at the University of California, Irvine(2005), her M.A. in Ethnic Studies at San Francisco State University (2008), and her Ph.D. in History at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2015).
Her research interests are in the fields of U.S. in the world, empires and imperialism, ethnic studies, and gender and sexuality studies. In 2011 she was a Fulbright scholar in the Philippines, where she completed research for her dissertation and book manuscript tentatively titled, “Dangerous Intercourse: Race, Gender and Interracial Relations in the American Colonial Philippines, 1898 – 1946.”

With all the nutty professors popping up daily, I wonder if this one is on a no fly list.
Should be released from the university. Not teaching whatever subject being paid for. Potilizing, not teaching.
Btw, why are so many of these academia types so interested and absorbed in ethnic studies? Humans and human behavior are nothing new.
What are they going to do with this type of education and why are we training armies of these people to study ethnicity?
