Las Vegas sheriff: Mass killer led a 'secret life' before attack

In the presser, the sheriff answers a question asking if he has direct knowledge that the shooter planned to survive the event and Escape. He answers yes, then refuses to provide any details.

At an earlier conference the Sheriff indicated something to the effect that the Escape Plan required assistance. There’s a whole lot of information in those two statements. I’m not being secretive in not exploring the possibilities, instead simply efficient. The spectrum of possibility it’s just too wide to even begin to scratch the surface here. Bear in mind we’re looking at a physical object, or a record in a device, that would indicate Beyond A Reasonable Doubt in the sheriff’s mind that some sort of collusion collaboration or cooperation was part of the plan. The possibilities there are endless. One example, a plane ticket with a departure date after the time of the shooting. The nature of any such cooperation raises Endless Possibilities as well.

Complete change of subject now I do not want to connect the subject above with what I’m about to say. The girlfriend was a Handler for high-rolling gamblers. She may or may not have willingly participated in some of the activities you might expect High Rolling gamblers to request. But you can bet your bottom dollar that she never obtained that employment position, or kept it for years, by being ignorant on those subjects. Drugs sex violence Suicidal Tendencies and other personality disorders, a professional liaison for high stakes gamblers we’ll have seen and heard it all. He wired her a kilo buck. She said it was to buy her family a house. Yeah maybe. But the surprise trip overseas according to her was because he had found a good deal on a ticket. This is a financial, order of magnitude, inconsistency. The is a player, long term. And not strictly in the gambling sense. She made her living off players, being hired by players to do so, and she built a lifestyle with an admitted player in the shooter. She said she thought maybe he was breaking up with her, and maybe she did, as one part of a wide spectrum of calculations that she and any other player would work through and their minds. All speculation aside the actual facts are obvious. She took her time returning stateside and she was hooked up with an attorney the minute she stepped foot back on us soil. A nickel says her ducks are lined up in a very neat row. The shooter’s brother is alleged to have worn an earpiece during his interviews. This obviously implies some sort of an analyst on the other end of that Communications pipe. Some this all up. Both of these people are savvy astute operators, Adept at covering their bases. Both have self-admittedly proven that they defer to the shooter. Players kneel in the presence of Grandmasters. They have little choice.

There is talk of a female companion. Speculation that she may have been a female escort. Las Vegas law enforcement can pick most of these out on the street. First name basis. It would take the department about 5 minutes to decide where they are dealing with an escort or an unknown. This comes from security camera footage so they have a physical description as well. We, are not given a physical description. So far, law enforcement does not believe they need the general Public’s assistance in locating the female companion. At the same time, they obviously aren’t afraid of spooking a said female companion by publicizing her existence. My analysis, decidedly subject to error, is that they know who she is, what she is, and they probably don’t see a major role for her in the grand scheme of things. If they did, and again this is speculative, they either never would have mentioned her until they grabbed her, or they would have provided a full description along with the first mention of her existence, or a period of time where they remained silent about her, then change tactics with both an admission of her existence and a full description at some future point in time.

A secret life. Well now where do you draw the lines. Very few gun collectors publicize those activities at the top of their lungs. Very few husbands advertise Liaisons with professional escorts to their wives. We know the sheriff, well now hold on, restated, I believe the sheriff is sitting on evidence related to a survival and Escape Plan. I know the sheriff dismisses questions about Minor issues, without spending time soothing any ruffled feathers. Along with every I don’t know, is an implied, or much care either. This does not hold true for his statements regarding a secret life. My money says he’s sitting on something significant pertaining to this line of discussion.

Don’t know if this subject has already been discussed but acoustics do appear difficult to pin down.

There is another variable in there. Situation specific.

A bunch of mics, most likely EQ, compression, and digital reverb, a truckfull of power amplifiers, a bunch of subwoofer cabinets, and two flown line arrays, in that general order.

I hear inter-set muzak, after the band quit, so at least part of that sound reinforcement system was live, during the rampage, in the shooter’s ten ring.

They also don’t dicuss local slug impact or penetration excitations, or richocet, and at that angle of incidence, I heard a few whine on by, on video.

In the hood, it is said gunshot acoustics can differentiate between firecrackers and gunshots, helping the police determine their response.

In a scenario layered with obfuscation, not so much.

With a news media aligned with a State increasingly accepted as rogue, we the people will continue to be treated like mushrooms.

A basic understanding of forensic acoustics can help the citizenry eliminate hours of baseless speculation.
