I have no objection to an attempt to amend the Constitution, A, because it will fail disastrously; and B, becuse it acknowledges that these rights are in fact protected by the Constitution to begin with.

Do liberals have a knee jerk reaction to never blaming the perpetrator? A 64 year old man decides to kill 54 people and the first reaction from the left is “guns did it”? Do we blame the rapist or the skirt the victim was wearing? Recalling Columbine, the press and the left just couldn’t form the words “evil” in reference to the 2 upper middle class assailants. They were not crazy, and guns didn’t make them do it. They were two evil kids.
