Could very well be.

He didn’t need to haul up his arsenal to do the job. Not unless he was expecting some accomplices.

He possibly have been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Wonder why the only photo of him has his eyes shut? But if that were the case, he would have to have been held hostage for 4 days at Mandalay Bay.

If he is not positively ID on video footage checking into the room on Thursday, then who knows what part, if any, he played in the scheme.

Theoretically: Some other party could have set up the room with the shooting gallery. Poddock could have been delivered there or invited there as a guest to have a drink / date on Sunday evening.

As soon as the cops came, he was terminated and left to take the fall.

Anything is possible.

It would have been seen. The Mandalay is a Vegas strip hotel and there are cameras in the elevators and the hallways of every floor. You can bet that the LVPD have the recordings and are going through them with a fine tooth comb.

Exactly, and it’s damned weird.

But the major problem with that scenario that I laid out is that it’s the wrong place to pull that scenario off -convincingly. Especially since he was reortedly a gambler. Casinos possess face recognition software for all the high rollers and they actively use it to prohibit card-counters and the like. They would have locked onto his every move and all the casinos share that data with each other.

Vegas and most especially, Mandalay Bay is fully covered with cameras. Another guilty party would be hard pressed to confiscate all of the footage after the fact and expect not to leave a trace or a trail.

Perhaps he just hated country music - If he is the guy in the Reno anti-Trump protest, then that’s the answer to his madness.

He’s psychotically deranged and he has internalized a national political loss which sent him over the edge, motivating him to massacre in revenge.
