Yep, they want to delegitimize the classical liberalism of our founding by painting it as immoral. The left knows full well that our Constitution is their enemy.
Despite being able to compose English sentences, I’m very concerned about her mental capacity and ability to function in society. I propose that for everyone’s safety, she be placed in a padded room.
I was teaching econ at a university when Chavez was organizing the farm workers. McGovern was running for President and said he was going to boycott lettuce until the union got its demands. One of my colleagues, a sociology prof, came into my office saying: “Did you see McGovern’s boycotting lettuce to help Chavez?”
Me: “Exactly the wrong thing to do.”
Her:”Why?”
Me: “If the boycott is successful, what will happen to the price of lettuce?”
Her: “It will do down.”
Me: “And what did you just do to the income the owner has to give a wage increase?”
Her: Crickets...
Me: “Now, instead, suppose McGovern had said ‘I’m going to eat five salads a day until this strike is settled!’ What would happen to the demand for lettuce?”
Her: “It would rise and prices would go up.”
Me: “And what just happened to the cost to the owner of not meeting their demands?”
Her: “It would go up.”
Me: “And what would the higher price do to the ability of the owner to pay a higher wage?”
Her: “WELL, THAT MAY BE BUT I DON’T BELIEVE IT!!” and she would stomp out of my office.
Liberals hate the facts when they don’t work for them.

Expect to find a semi-hidden message in works of literature written by Marxist-Leninists, whether it’s for children or adults. It’s all propaganda meant to further the cause.

The irony is that blacks separating themselves reimpose the same kind of separation that existed under Jim Crow. No matter what they insist on calling it.
The only way a communist can write a good children’s book is for said communist to abandon communistic principles. Therefore, it’s impossible for a communist to do.
I take it this “librarian,” for all her professed expertise on Dr. Seuss, is unfamiliar with “The Sneetches.”
