“A rookie Houston Texans guy did just that and handed over hi first check to 3 cafeteria gals that went through Harvey.”
That was Deshaun Watson, their black rookie quarterback from Clemson. Good man, and he is playing great.
Not good enough.
Hands on hearts, helmets under arms.
All that linking arms does for me is underline how committed their are to their own self-interest.
Not much about the flag or anthem :(...
Game is temporarily stopped for lightening.
You are very correct, hand on heart, helmet under the arm. I'd add chin up, back straight like they mean it.
Standing arm in arm is still disrespectful protest.
This Green Bay Packers fan who lives in the Chicagoland area refuses to watch the NFL, period.
Now they're linking arms instead of kneeling? Same message, different format.
Either stand respectfully with your hand over your heart for our National Anthem or you're disrespecting all who served, including members of my own family.
FUNFL.
>> Link Arms for Social Justice
A.K.A. blind hatred for LEOs.
Remember. how the Left claimed that there was nobody at Trump’s inauguration except it was packed? The Left has many tricks up its sleeve.
I guess since I didn’t watch, I’m curious, was anybody allowed to stand with hand over heart? Isn’t that still a right?
When I explain this to those asking, “What’s the big deal?”, I say suppose one player was standing on the sideline with a banner “Black Live Don’t Matter” or giving the big “Hiel Hitler” salute, do you suppose the same folks would be falling on the sword to defend their free speech. Do you think the NFL would condone that? Of course anybody doing that would absolutely “wrong and offensive” but not illegal. What’s the difference? Disrespecting the flag is as offensive to me and a whole lot of other vets, and other folks who all still love this country. Von Miller got a 15 yard penalty for the team last week for “dissing” the other team’s QB, but diss the flag, our warriors, our greatest generation, that’s ok. Yep, you have every right in the world to be an ass, doesn’t mean you should. This linking arms is just a flipping compromise that gives credence to the SJW snowflakes. Are they afraid they’ll “tune out”? Here’s a little secret for you...they’re not watching in the first place. Only time they tune in is to watch Beyonce or Bruno Mars at halftime during the SB.
Loved my Broncos, will miss them.
social justice? WTH does that have to do with showing respect for our country and flag?
NOTHING. They’re insulting and stupid.
Screw the NFL
Idiots. Right hand over your heart and respect the flag and the national anthem.
Linked arms doesn’t cut it for me.
The “Death of a great game”.....
locked arms... show of wuzzieness by the owners and coaches
Packers and Bears, true “Obama Pajama Boys” standing and linking arms in so called solidarity. But...at least half of all the players put their right hands over their hearts or they saluted the flag and anthem.
However, the season ticket fans failed to link their arms and, as usual, placed their right hands over their hearts or saluted the flag and anthem. I would estimate that, maybe about five percent of the fans linked arms. The weak sister, Aaron Rogers plea to the fans to link arms while standing failed miserably. Trump keeps winning!!!
If they really want to show solidarity they should form a daisy chain or a circle jerk.
The stadium was full at kick-off. While I am disappointed that the players stood with linking arms, it was gratifying that the fans loudly sang the national anthem and when finished shouted “USA, USA, USA.....” Hopefully the team may have learned something from the fans. I am at the game and it is half time. Go Pack Go!!
Well, aren't you special. Y'all get a participation trophy and a snack on your way out. Good bye, adios, enjoy the sunset.
Still doing it wrong. Half stepping is still half stepping.
