As part of a wave of protests throughout the NFL in the wake of President Donald Trump's NFL-related comments, the Steelers will not be on the field for the playing of the national anthem before their game against the Bears on Sunday.
Coach Mike Tomlin told CBS his team would remain in the locker room for the playing of the Star-Spangled Banner.

Yes. Did you see the stadium pictures of the latest Niners game??? More EMPTY seats than filled ones. People have had it with this anti-American crap.
The fans should occupy the field thereby shutting down the game, ruining the schedule, making TV sponsors/advertisers lose out, and forcing players to see who is boss.
Btw, I grew up in Chicago and my dad had Bears season tickets. This move will NOT go over well with Chicagoans. Or most Americans.

Ive seen this position pushed on a few other threads. Not sure of this CONSERVATIVE NFL of what you speak of. That ship sailed decades ago. The NFL has been a tool of the left for a long time now.

The fans should not show up... let them come out on the field and find no one there to watch their filthy hides ... let them eat cake. Why would anyone want to watch them? They do not have an original thought in their mindless bodies.... they have to copy ... have to follow.. they think they are making a statement... and that is “they are not fit to be in America”.

Reminiscent of Mizzou coach Gary Pinkel who went along with the “hands up don’t shoot” lie and then two days later conveniently developed “cancer” and resigned.
Remember that they want to take over all cultural venues including pro sports. Now those venues are losing their political value.
