Interesting...I think you will be correct about home food delivery. I’m curious, what is the delivery cost of the meals you order? (I spose I could go look, too...:*)

$59 a week for six meals. For the wife and I, it's three meals during the week. The rest of week (usually Mondays and Fridays), we go out to eat at local restaurants. Our restaurant tab for one night (including drinks) is usually higher than the $59 we spend on Blue Apron that takes care of us for three nights. So for us, it's saving us money. We used to go out to eat just about every weeknight before taking this service.

It's a fact of life for people of working age. I can't expect my wife to be Donna Reed when she's working too. I suppose when we retire, We'll go back to clipping coupons and buying ingredients in bulk to cook at home - but by then, it will likely be delivered at home. I hardly ever go into a supermarket these days.
