Stephen Curry went to bed Friday night thinking he and the rest of the Golden State Warriors would convene Saturday for their first day of practice to decide whether they would be making the NBA champions’ traditional White House visit when they travel to Washington in February.
He woke up to 20 text messages telling him that choice had been made for him, thanks to President Trump’s tweet that Curry’s White House invitation had been rescinded.
“It’s surreal, to be honest,” Curry said after that practice had concluded at the team’s facility in downtown Oakland. “I don’t know why he feels the need to target certain individuals, rather than others.
“I have an idea of why, but it’s kind of beneath a leader of a country to go that route. That’s not what leaders do.”
In between Curry’s meeting with the media Saturday afternoon and his impassioned defense of why he would be voting against a possible White House visit 24 hours earlier, plenty had happened. The combination of President Trump both attacking NFL players for failing to stand during the national anthem at a political rally in Alabama on Friday night and his tweets about Curry and those same NFL players Saturday morning had unleashed a torrent of responses condemning his actions from the sports world.
One of the first to speak up was LeBron James, who called Trump a “bum” in a tweet and later posted a video on “Uninterrupted” with his expanded thoughts on the matter.

Is this guy for real..first of all President Trump dis invited Curry, NOT the Warriors team..which by the way said after they won the NBA Title that they would have to “Discuss it as a team” if they even wanted to attend(And that is if President Trump even invited them) so this douche bag who NEVER intended on going is upset because Trump said “Fine, then don’t come your not invited” what a sad little crybaby this guy is

Then why did this jackass go in about not accepting the invitation? Yeah “I have an idea why” too. Because Curry is a racist punk bum who should go to hell.
If this team felt like they needed to meet to decide whether or not they'd even go to the White House, then they already decided that it wasn't terribly important to them.
President Trump simply called their bluff on it and refused to give them the opportunity to make a highly-publicized rejection of the invitation.

I'm quite certain that, as a leader of the team, he is describing himself. Irony is the opposite of wrinkly, it would seem.

So you have an idea why Trump didn’t invite you? Maybe it’s because of your white mother? or maybe it’s because of your partially black father. Everything boils down to race for you.

In one little message bird brain blew off a minimum of 100 million Americans. Obviously Curry is riding high now but little does he know the wrath that awaits him. His soft life will never be the same and he will deeply regret his racist hatred.

Used to kind of like the guy. This racist hate that Curry has for conservative voters which is expressed as disrespect for President Trump has exposed that he is just another spoiled athlete.
All their lives they are the center of everything and they never grow out of it.
I hope he suffers knowing the contempt he generates in half the nation when before he was just a spoiled ball boy.
Why does Curry and the rest of the a-hole Warriors think they should get the chance to disrespect the Office of the President and the President. PT didn’t allow them that action and Curry and the rest are acting like the little babies they are cause they didn’t get to diss the president.
