“Gridiron fans are switching the channel and they’re staying out of the stadiums, too. The Rams and Chargers barely filled half their stadiums.”
I attended the Chiefs-Eagles game in Kansas City Sunday, visiting relatives. It was nearly sold out. The fans were raucous. There were many patriotic displays. Several local civic and military leaders were honored at breaks with strong applause. Probably a much different experience than left-coast teams.
And it was a good game, the Chiefs won, and they look like Super Bowl contenders.
Nice to hear that. I think I’ll start rooting for the Chiefs this season. :D

They often do in the early season. But your bigger point that in fly over country football is doing just fine, is true.
And GO CHIEFS!
The NFL/Entertainment industry are currently engaged in what is known as a “circle jerk”....

When the massive flag was unfurled from goal post to goal post, no one could see if putrid Peters stood, kneeled or sat but I'm certain national broadcast only focused on him and any other anti-American pity-party millionaires "protesting."
I am a Chiefs fan who hopes that Marcus Peters blows his knee out (this is after seeing him take a knee against the Pats). Did he do this against the Eagles?
