Several thousand miles of 30’ wall, would seem to indicate a pretty massive cost.
**********************************
No one has ever proposed a physical wall across the entire Southern US border, which is just below 2000 miles in length.

Many areas, like The Big Bend, will not get a physical wall, as there are steep cliffs hundreds of feet high on each side of of the Rio Grande river.

Where no physical wall exists there will be sensors, surveillance and manpower.

While true, it’s also safe to say the proposals did address most of the length of the border.

Whether it’s 100% or 75%, this is a major project and will cost over $10 billion IMO. I have used a high figure ($20 billion), but that was to weed out the folks who would say I was underestimating.
