De Blasio to taxpayers: Pay my $2.3M lawyer bill from pay-to-play probe
Mayor de Blasio has decided to “let” taxpayers foot most of the $2.3 million bill he owes the lawyers who defended him in probes that found he’d intervened on behalf of donors seeking favors from City Hall.
After months of insisting he would never ask the public to pay what he owed, the mayor put up a brief explanation of his reversal on Medium.com early Friday entitled “Our Legal Bills.”
He revealed that “after giving this a great deal of thought,” he’s decided the city will pay $2 million for legal work “tied to my government service.”

The. Great DeBlasio is doing us the honor of letting us pay his legal bills for him being corrupt, after insisting for months that he'll pay his legal bills himself or through his campaign. You cant make this sh*t up.

Wouldn’t matter to me. I sent money to elect him and I expect him to use the money to stay in office against these criminals.
I heard a report today on FOX cable that some of the legal bills for some of the campaign workers under investigation are 6 and 7 figures. It doesn’t make sense that the president himself would have to use campaign funds - couldn’t they be used to help the workers instead? Or if not, shouldn’t he pay them? It shouldn’t make a dent in his funds...
I hate the media as much as any sworn enemy of the United States. Then again,maybe the media is a sworn enemy.

Obama, the Clintons, Bush and every other politician utilizes their campaign funds as they please within the law which makes the money Trump’s, just as that money from New York was Hillary’s when she refused to pay those who worked for her campain - the kept their money by not paying for services rendered and it was to paid by her campaign - she kept that money for herself.
Hmmmm..... How about an Executive Order confiscating all the illegal foreign money in the Clinton Crime Family Foundation? That should fund it for a while.
